passing the mucous plug

yay! I lost the cervical plug this morning and then tortured Gavin by showing it to him. if you're not sure what the so-called "bloody show" is, there's more information about it here. it's a symptom that the cervix is dilating, although it doesn't always mean labor (and, as my midwife told me yesterday, the lack of a bloody show doesn't mean you're not in labor).
